420 Usually represents general cannabis culture and can be used to tag random tweets, quotes, songs etc. It can also be used to tag tweets on or around 4:20. On April 20th, it became the first (and I believe only) marijuana related “Trending Topic” (most popular word or phrase) on Twitter.

#MMOT (Marijuana Movement on Twitter)

The MMOT tag was started by @StonerNation and has became one of the more popular hashtags used. Like #420, it can be applied to just about any type of message and is used to target a specific group of users.

This is a hashtag that i was just recently made aware of but i already like using it. This hashtag is actually used quite a bit, im surprised i haven’t seen it yet. You use this tag to describe what your doing during a “wake and Bake” session.

I don’t think this one started out as a marijuana related hash tag but it is used a lot for that purpose now. You use #TwitterBowl as a symbole for an actual bowl of some dank you might be smoking or even want to pass to a friend or follower on twitter

This is a great hash tag to use if your trying to get followers that are “420 friendly”. What you do is, follow anyone who uses this hashtag and they will follow you back

Use this twitter hashtag to let someone know your going to go and blaze or any other reason you can think of to use “BURN ONE” lol. This hashtag is actually used more than you might think
